BioProffa’s Snail Stop is a natural barrier that stops snails in their tracks. It is especially suitable for raised plant beds and pallet collars.

Sheep wool is to snails what wolves are to sheep. Snails know to steer away from coarse wool as it poses an existential threat to their mucus-heavy lifestyle – snails require a lot of mucus to move. Thereby (smart) snails seek to travel along sheep wool-free roads rather than risk drying out.

Material: 100% sheep's wool

Instructions
Place it around a garden bed, on the edge of a pallet collar with a stapler, on the edge of a flower pot as a ring, or wherever snails expand their high-speed networks.

Maintenance
BioProffa wool products are 100% sheep's wool and therefore 100% biodegradable; you can prolong their use by drying them well before storage. Otherwise, sheep's wool will release important nutrients and trace elements (especially nitrogen and sulfur) as it decomposes - whether this is your intention, is up to you :)
