The DUC357 is a cordless chainsaw with carbon brushless motor and reduction gear for Makita's 18V battery system. The motor has plenty of torque and is ideal for cutting firewood or as a general-purpose saw for construction work, for example.

The chain can be tightened and replaced without tools, the filling opening and cap of the blade chain oil tank are large and the tank is equipped with an inspection window. Operation is easy and hassle-free. The saw is equipped with a chain brake which is activated by mechanical movement or kinetic energy when necessary. In addition, the saw is equipped with a blade chain designed to reduce the risk of kickback.

Thanks to the carbon-free motor, up to 110 cuts can be made on a 100x100 mm bead on a single charge (6Ah battery).
