End cap cover for M5 security lock

In order to cover the M5/M6 locks, the conical end cap makes a beautiful completion for component, quick-release and thru axles. The cap nut can be screwed onto the thread of the securing axle, if it protrudes from the security ring. In this way, you do not have to shorten the axles. What’s more, the security locks on axles, seatposts, brakes and other components are not only hidden from direct access, yet also protected reliably from dirt. The stainless steel cap precisely fits the security ring of the lock and completes it as if made from one piece. The included rubber rings prevents unintended removal of the Pitlock end cap.

Note:
The axle with thread of Pitlock security locks has to protrude at least 3 mm from the security ring, as otherwise the end cap cannot be screwed onto it. Alu flat caps (prod. code 2288618) can be used to cover axles within the security ring.
