MED/SOLAS-approved inflatable lifejackets are intended for demanding professional use. Thanks to the two-part chambers, the vests are twice as safe. These lifejackets must be equipped with a lifejacket light.

All the new lifejackets from the Baltic Solas series intended for professional use are comfortable to use thanks to the neck opening/flaring necklines and softly contoured collar. Baltic's unique neckline and structure guarantee a good fit and ease of use. The surface material is a comfortable fabric or PVC that can be cleaned by wiping. Buckle with quick release, adjustable belt, crotch straps, lifting loop and "buddy cloth" as standard.

Inflatable life jackets are some of the safest products on the water when you take care of them properly. Inflatable lifejackets work with a CO2 cartridge, which must be replaced every time the vests are filled. The automatic lifejacket has a sensor (trigger) that activates and fills the vest when immersed in water. All inflatable lifejackets, both manual and automatic models, have a drawstring for inflation. The inflatable lifejacket must always be an outer garment to ensure that its inflation is not restricted and that water can activate the trigger.

The waist belt must be adjusted so that the lifejacket fits correctly on the user. In a poorly adjusted life jacket, the weight tends to shift to the collar, while a properly adjusted one can be worn all day without discomfort in the shoulders and neck area.
