Come to Finland Saimaa is calling you postcard

The artist describes his work: I got the inspiration for my poster from my adventure on the lake behind my student apartment in Stockholm. Winters in the Nordic countries are often considered cold and dark, which many people do not appreciate very much. Instead, here you can enjoy warm conversations with friends by candlelight, in front of the fireplace or perhaps on the sauna deck. I wanted to describe this winter warmth combined with the joy that a typical winter hobby on the lake can bring. Because I love imperfect, hand-drawn lines, most of the elements of the poster were first drawn on paper, then scanned and finally colored using a computer drawing program.
So this is a new work created for Come to Finland. We firmly believe that poster art must be made attractive and made available to new generations. Do you notice how Finland once again - through the means of poster art - attracts tourists with the help of glamor and shouts of joy echoing from paradise? Available in week 3.
