Promod GSM III remote control device

ProMod GSM III has a total of five control channels that can be turned on and off with text messages. The control channels can be used to control e.g. the heating of the summer house, the hot water heater, the car's heating socket or any other device that works with electricity.


ProMod GSM III has eight input channels to which alarm information can be connected; motion and door detectors, fire alarms, etc. Each outdoor channel can be programmed separately according to usage needs.


There are two temperature measurement channels in ProMod GSM III, for which the upper and lower limit alarm temperatures can be set separately and alarm information can be received from them as a text message.


ProMod GSM III can be set to function as a thermostat, in which case the heating controlled by ProMod GSM III can be adjusted by text message with an accuracy of one degree. This is a convenient function, especially in summer cottages, where there is less of a home/away switch. ProMod GSM III also has a dry button function. With this function, for example, the inside temperature of the summer house can be kept a few degrees higher than the outside temperature. This keeps the interior dry, but consumes significantly less electricity than when maintaining basic heat. It should be noted that when using the dry button function, the internal temperature may sometimes be on the freezing side, so e.g. water pipes must be drained to avoid pipe breaks.


Programming and technical support


ProMod GSM III can be programmed on a PC conveniently using the ProMod Config III program
through. The program can be used to read settings from ProMod GSM III, change settings and
writes settings to ProMod GSM III via serial cable. Settings can be
also save on the PC hard disk for later use or print the memory on paper
in support of. The program and serial cable are included in the price of ProMod GSM III.

Important!!

So that the buyer of the device does not have to learn the settings related to the activation of the device, such as alarm channel settings, phone number recordings, etc., we have implemented a remote programming service, where we, as the manufacturer, can transfer as a data call

necessary information for ProMod GSM III. That means a phone call to us and tell us what kind of functions you want, and we'll take care of the rest. The service is free during the warranty period. NOTE! The remote programming service is only possible when the ProMod GSM III mobile phone connection (SIM card) has a so-called "Incoming data call" feature enabled.
