The innovative, smart coins can also be used in combination with existing light installations. If you have already installed recessed spotlights with a diameter of 51 mm, you can simply switch over to the energy-saving LED modules. A diode in white (W) additionally provides a cosy warm white light and makes it unnecessary to mix a white tone from the colours red, green and blue (RGB). The luminaire is Zigbee-compatible. Zigbee is a radio transmission protocol that interconnects devices from different manufacturers. This allows not only the centralised control of lighting; shutters, heating and alarm systems, for example, can also be integrated. To control the coins, you can choose between a gateway for the same standard by a different manufacturer, or a Smart Home Zigbee hand-held transmitter. Individual components can be addressed, or switched on and off in groups as lighting scenarios.
