LEGO 2K Drive is a large-scale, high-level driving game that combines popular LEGO bricks and open-world racing with exploration, building and creative fun. The game sees a major collaboration with McLaren Automotive, known for its supercars and hypercars. As a result, the game features the McLaren Solus GT and McLaren F1 LM sports cars, celebrating the 60-year career of Bruce McLaren's founding company in high-end racing. These special cars will be brought into the high-octane atmosphere of the Bricklandia playground to provide thrilling moments for speed-hungry drivers.

Key features of LEGO 2K Drive include a story-driven experience in an expansive and open game world. Players travel across a diverse Bricklandia, challenging rival, yet charismatic, race drivers along the way. The goal of the player-driven protagonist is to win the coveted trophy of the prestigious Sky Cup competition. However, it is up to the player to choose how they want to progress through the game - a huge world of races, mini-games, special challenges and collectibles. The pieced-together world is also designed to be broken and reassembled. So, if you want, you can assemble vehicles from different LEGO themes. Familiar LEGO themes such as the urban City, the creative Creator, the fast-paced Speed Champions and many other familiar constructions are also included.

With countless different tracks to choose from, players will also have access to unique special abilities to influence the races and the racing. In a typical LEGO brick fashion, players can also customise their own vehicles to suit their own tastes. With over 1,000 different LEGO bricks, players can customise and tweak their own vehicles in a variety of unique ways.

In addition to the exciting single-player mode, there's both co-operative and competitive multiplayer. This is available both on a shared screen with family and friends, for example, and online with other players of the same level.
