Pottatuolissa on pyöreähkö muotoilu, jossa ei ole kulmia tai mutkia, mihin mahdollinen lika pääsisi kertymään. Potta on helppo puhdistaa; yksinkertaisesti nosta potan sisäosa etureunan kahvan avulla irti, tyhjennä se ja pyyhi tai huuhtele juoksevan veden alla. Pottatuoli on tehty kestävästä PVC-vapaasta ja BPA-vapaasta muovista, mikä on myöskin ihoystävällinen. Potan sisäosan leveä reuna on pyöristetty niin, ettei se nipistä lapsen ihosta.
