Panasonic Aquarea WH-ADC0916H9E8 All in One H-generation 1- and 3-phase 9-16kW Split air-to-water heat pump indoor unit with R410A refrigerant , with a built-in 185-liter hot water storage tank. The indoor unit moves the hot gas produced by the outdoor unit forward with the help of a heat exchanger, heating the service water and the water of the heat distribution network to a suitable temperature. The indoor unit installed on the floor has an intelligent control system (suitable for controlling 1 heating circuit), as well as a built-in 9kW 3-phase electric resistance as an additional energy source in severe frosty weather.

The All in One indoor unit is easy to install, it already contains all the necessary control automation, as well as a 185 liter roaster water storage tank. The tank has very efficient U-VACUA insulation, which is 19 times better than urethane insulation of the same thickness. The All in One indoor unit is particularly suitable for new projects, but it is also easy to install in renovation projects with normal room height.

Buying a device containing F-gases - notification of using a qualified installation shop
If changes are made to the heat pump's refrigerant circuit and it contains fluorinated greenhouse gases, connecting the circuit requires a refrigerant qualification issued by Tukes. Dimensioning the air-to-water heat pump
Panasonic Aquarea air-to-water heat pumps are suitable as a heat source for water-circulating radiators and floor heating objects, as well as for producing hot domestic water. Dimensioning the right size/power class of the heating system can be done, for example, according to the peak power demand (W/m2) for heating during severe frosts.

    • To ensure sufficient heating capacity, please note that your heating system always has an additional electric resistance/other back-up heating system for winter's extreme cold (below -28 °C), when the air-to-water heat pump does not produce heat. The power of the electric resistance must be at least equal to the peak heating power requirement / the power of the outdoor unit of the air-to-water heat pump. An additional resistor can be placed, for example, in a buffer charger or a hybrid charger, if the electrical resistance of the indoor unit itself is not yet high enough (usually applies to systems over 9kW).

The buffer accumulator of the heat distribution network balances the operation of the heat pump, it makes the operating periods of the compressor long enough and helps the heat pump to work as planned. It is especially useful when heat is produced in a water-circulating radiator network, where the amount of water is typically smaller than, for example, in water-circulating floor heating sites. We recommend the use of a buffer accumulator at least with radiators, it also helps with underfloor heating, especially in heating situations in damp rooms during the summer, when the amount of water in the floor circulation is small when the rest of the underfloor heating circuit is closed. In these situations, even the inverter compressors may run intermittently without the buffer charger connection.
