Don't wet your face first, because then the cleansing oil won't stick to the dirt so well, but may remain on the skin.Always use a clean face sponge or washcloth to wipe off excess oil. Give your face a light massage while massaging the oil into your face. It helps to stimulate blood circulation in the skin.You can also wet and steam a face cloth and leave it on the face for a while before wiping off the oil. Warm steam opens the pores and enhances cleaning (removes blackheads effectively). Double cleansing with Nurturing Oil and facial soap If you have very dry and easily irritated skin and you need a thorough skin cleansing from e.g. heavy make-up or impurities, try double cleansing. The gentleness of double cleansing is based on the fact that the oil removes make-up and absorbs impurities from the skin, after which the facial soap only washes away the added oil and impurities. Start by massaging Nurturing Oil (approx. 1 tsp) into dry skin in circular and upward movements, not forgetting the skin around the eyes and neck. Continue massaging until the make-up and dirt have started to come off. 2. Wipe off most oils and make-up gently with a slighty moistened face sponge, muslin cloth, face mitt or reusable cotton pad. 3. Finish the facial cleansing by washing off the rest of the make-up and oil from the face with facial soap or another cleansing product. 4.
