Instructions for use Eyebrow Colour Depend Eyebrow Colour gives you naturally accentuated and full brows in just a few minutes. A permanent colouring product that lasts for up to 6 weeks and is simple and safe to use, and which ensures you perfect brows when you wake in the morning and after exercising, swimming or sunbathing. Available in black, brown-black, dark brown and brown. The contents of the colouring cream tube are sufficient for about 8-10 treatments. The peroxide is sufficient for several treatments; therefore, a refill tube can be purchased for use with the colouring cream. The pack contains: 1 Tube Colouring Cream 1 Tube Peroxide 3 %. 1 Mixing cup 1 Mixing stick 1 Application brush 1 Instructions for use Read through all the instructions for use and follow them carefully before commencing colouring. Warning: Contains hydrogen peroxide. Avoid contact with the eyes. If the product comes into contact with the eyes, rinse immediately. Do not use the product if you have any irritation/inflammation in or on the skin around your eyes. Do not use the product on your eyebrows if you have plucked or waxed them in the past 72 hours. If at any point during the treatment you feel a stinging or prickling sensation, you must stop the treatment immediately. This can be a sign of hypersensitivity to one of the ingredients. Contains phenylenediamines (toluene diamines). Do not use to colour eyelashes. You should leave at least 4 weeks between treatments. Symbol: Hair dyes can cause serious allergic reactions. Read the instructions for use and follow them carefully. The product is not intended for use by persons under 16 years old. Temporary ‘black henna’ tattoos may increase the risk of allergy. Do not colour your hair if — you have a rash on your face or your scalp is sensitive, irritated or damaged, — you have reacted to a hair dye previously, — you have reacted to a temporary ‘black henna’ tattoo previously. Carry out an allergy test at least 48 hours before use. Allergy test: Allergic reactions to colourants can occur at any time. For that reason, carry out an allergy test at least 48 hours before treatment. Apply a dab of cream mixed according to the mixing instructions to the inside of your elbow (protect your clothing). Leave for 10 minutes. Then rinse off with lukewarm water. If your skin smarts and you suffer irritation within 48 hours, you must not use this product. Even if the test produces no rash, this is no guarantee; rather it is an extra precaution to guard against a possible allergic reaction. The product may discolour surfaces and spills must be cleaned up immediately to avoid staining. Tips and advice The normal developing time is 5-10 minutes. If you would like a lighter colour result, try a shorter developing time of 2-3 minutes. If you do not get the colour result you expected, or it is uneven, this may be due to you not having mixed the peroxide and the colouring cream thoroughly enough. When mixed properly, you should have a smooth cream without any lumps. Preparations prior to colouring: Remove all makeup in the area that will be coloured using an oil-free eye makeup remover. It is important that you remove all traces of makeup products, as these can prevent a good end result being achieved. The hair to be coloured must be completely clean and dry. REMEMBER that if you intend to pluck or wax your eyebrows, you must wait to do this until after colouring is complete. The colour mix may colour the skin around the brows. Protect the skin around the brows from staining by applying some protective (greasy) cream to the area. Protect porcelain surfaces and furniture from stains by covering them with newspaper or similar, and keep cotton wool pads and water handy. What to do, step by step: 1. Protect the skin around the brows from staining by applying some protective (greasy) cream to the area with a cotton bud. Make sure that none of this cream gets on the hair, as this will ruin the colour result. 2a. Squeeze two cm of the colouring cream into the mixing cup. 2b. Add 15 drops of the peroxide. Hold the tube downwards at an angle and squeeze gently until the correct number of drops have been added. 2c. Stir with the mixing stick for approx. 30-60 seconds until the mix achieves a smooth consistency without lumps (very important). The colour mix must be applied immediately. 3. Apply a thin layer of the ready-mixed colouring cream to your eyebrows using the application brush. The hair must be covered from root to tip with the colour mix. Leave to take effect for 5-10 minutes, depending on how intense you want the colour to be. If you would like a lighter colour result, you can first try a developing time of 2-3 minutes. If unwanted colour gets on to the skin, this must be removed immediately using a moistened cotton wool pad. 4. Remove the colour mix, first with a dry cotton wool pad and then with one moistened with lukewarm water. Always clean the mixing stick, the cup and the application brush with a little water and washing-up liquid after use.
