With Bradley's smoke generator, you can turn any small booth into a smoking cabinet. The smoke generator is made of stainless steel and works in the same way as the smoke generator attached to the Original Bradley smoker: it feeds briquettes to the heating element every 20 minutes. The model of the smoke generator resembles the older Bradley smoker models, which are no longer manufactured. It can only be turned on or off, and it also has a briquette feed button, which is used to feed the first briquette to the burner. After that, the device feeds briquettes automatically.

The second part of the device consists of a stainless steel front plate and an adjustable adapter to which the smoke generator is connected with two fasteners. This makes it easy to remove the generator from the front plate of the adapter and to clean and store it. The idea is that the front plate is always attached to the structure used for smoking.

Bradley flavor briquettes are used in the smoke generator. It is excellent for cold smoking. Bradley smoking cabinets that come with a generator are insulated, which causes heat to rise inside the cabinet and makes cold smoking difficult. Instead, the booth you use for smoking is perhaps significantly larger and not necessarily insulated. Therefore, it is less likely that the temperature will rise, and if only the air temperature outside the smoker is low enough (below 28 °C), there will hardly be any problems with cold smoking. For Bradley's other smoker models, we recommend a cold smoke box sold as an accessory for cold smoking.

An ideal smoking cabinet can be, for example, an old chest freezer raised upright so that the lid is a door, an 11-centimeter opening is made in the side for the adapter and a ventilation opening on top, so that the smoke can flow inside naturally. Air flow is needed so that the food is smoked with high quality and so that the smoke does not reach back into the smoke generator. If this were to happen, soot would start to accumulate on the parts of the device.
