Garmin Alpha 200 handheld device

With the Alpha 200 dog tracking system, you can track up to 20 dogs or devices¹ at the same time from up to 14.4 km away (depending on the collar). The device has a 3.5-inch screen and an update interval of 2.5 seconds. Using the device is easy with the help of buttons. In addition to tracking functions, high-class Garmin navigation functions, preloaded European TopoActive maps, BirdsEye satellite images that can be loaded directly into the device, and a three-axis compass and barometric height sensor are available.

MULTI-SATELLITE SUPPORT
Thanks to multiple satellite navigation systems (GPS and Galileo), the accuracy is better than using GPS alone

SENSORS
The barometric height sensor helps you understand whether you are moving up or down. You can also see small changes in air pressure. The three-axis compass shows the direction both when you are moving and when you are standing still

COMPASS MODE
In compass mode, you can see the direction and distance of the dogs. You can also see if they are chasing game or if they are standing still

TOPOACTIVE MAPS
The device is preloaded with European TopoActive maps, which show mountains, parks, coastlines, rivers, lakes and other points of interest.

BIRDSEYE SATELLITE IMAGES
BirdsEye satellite images can be downloaded directly to the device (no subscription required) and waypoints can be created based on landmarks.

ADDITIONAL MAP LOCATION
Additional maps can be loaded into the MicroSD™ card slot, which are sold as accessories

GARMIN EXPLORE™
When the device is paired with the GarminExplore application on a compatible smartphone, you can see real-time dog tracking data, save dog tracks and review the progress of the hunting trip in more detail afterwards on a smartphone or tablet

HUNTING TIMER
The timer can be used in a hunting test or training. Programming the timer to one of the hotkeys makes it easier to use
