The Xi5 is designed to exceed the expectations of today's quality-conscious customers. It is designed to be reliable in everyday use and to last a long time. With out-of-the-box wireless capabilities, anglers have precise engine and steering control from anywhere on the boat. We have also made it very quiet and silky smooth. You will also notice carefully thought out details that make use safe and easy.

The Xi5's controller features LED lights, allowing anglers to quickly see the status of four key functions in all lighting conditions. The battery charge indicator uses different colored lights to indicate three levels of battery life in real time.

Built-in 83/200kHz transducer with temperature sensor, offer the user market-leading clarity and detail. Lowrance compatible.

MotorGuide's own Pinpoint GPS technology is available for the Xi5, either pre-installed or as an easy-to-install accessory. Pinpoint achieves incredibly accurate performance by using extremely accurate GPS reception and precise control algorithms.

The following Pinpoint features can be controlled using a small, easy-to-use remote control:
Anchor
• Keeps the boat in place in a fixed GPS coordinate
• Stores and remembers up to eight locations
• In anchor mode, the direction control can be used to move the boat in any direction in 1.5 meter increments
Course lock
• Steers the boat to a specific compass direction
Route
• Saves and plays up to eight routes, each of which can be up to 6.4km long
Cruise control
• Maintains GPS speed while traveling along a course or route

MotorGuide® and Lowrance®
All functions controlled by the Pinpoint® GPS remote control (anchor, navigation, course lock, track record/playback and cruise control) can be fully operated via the Lowrance HDS-Gen2, Gen2 TOUCH or Gen3 displays using Lowrance SmartSteer™ software. But all this is just the beginning. The intuitive user interface gives the fisherman the opportunity to create new effective fishing techniques, while at the same time the electronics and the bow motor take care of the control of the boat. Below are some new and carefully developed functions:
• Use the sonar display to determine anchorage and fish spots; set, rewind history and navigate to the best spots directly through the sonar screen.
• Use the chartplotter screen to navigate a new route or return to a specific point on a route traveled.
• Use and modify the following fishing actions to create varying motion on lures: U-Turn, C-Turn, Spiral Turn, Zig Zag, Square and S-Wave.
