The lightweight X-Tubo made of thermoplastic polyurethane can be mounted on common steel and aluminium rims with suitably sized tyres and ridden like a standard inner tube in the city and touring sector. It’s safe from small holes caused by thorns & such, and without the need for additional latex emulsion. Also safe for e-bikes that don’t require permits. Compared to the classic tube, it not only withstands punctures much better, it is also significantly lighter and smaller than its butyl rubber counterpart. In addition, the TPU tube impresses with noticeably lower rolling resistance.

Sure, the durable X-Tubo is a little more expensive than a conventional bicycle inner tube. But if you think of the time and effort you’d otherwise need for patching, the robust X-Tubo quickly pays for itself.
