The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom (UK, SE, DK, FI) - Nintendo Switch

The long-awaited action adventure The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom will be released exclusively for Nintendo Switch on 12 May 2023.

In this sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, the setting for Link's epic adventure has been expanded to include the skies above the vast lands of Hyrule.

Just like The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, there's a big world to explore. A world that has changed in many ways...

Link has new useful abilities

Recall: an ability that rewinds a target's movements back in time. Link can use this ability to make rocks that have fallen from the sky move back upwards.
Fuse: Using the Fuse ability, you can combine items and create new weapons with new effects. You can create all sorts of things by trying this ability
Ultrahand: Use this ability to attach things together or break them apart. For example, you can freely create vehicles in the game
Ascend: If you are in a place with a roof, you can use this ability to ascend through the roof to the floor above. You can even reach the top of a mountain if you find a cave on the mountain where you can use this ability. This way you don't have to climb up.

The Link (Tears of the Kingdom) amiibo will be released alongside the game on 12 May. Scan this amiibo figure to get weapons and materials, as well as a special cover for Link's shadow connector
