FLEX BASE 5Z ensures comfortable and safe travel for four years. The modular base is compatible with the BABY-SAFE 5Z2 car seat, the BABY-SAFE 3 i-SIZE car seat and the DUALFIX 5Z car seat – and each of them can be installed on the base with just one click. The reversible platform allows each seat to be turned towards the car door, making it easier to place the child in the seat and fasten the harness. In addition, the DUALFIX car seat can be turned 360 degrees, which allows traveling facing forward when the child is 15 months old and 76 cm tall.

Modular comfort
The modular platform is suitable for the products BABY-SAFE 5Z2, BABY-SAFE 3 i-SIZE and DUALFIX 5Z, and it follows your little one's journey from the first trip home until the age of four. The seats are easy to install and remove with just one click. Thanks to the easy-to-use release button, you can easily lift the car seat from the handle. The adjustable rebound bar offers the child more legroom when traveling facing the direction of travel.

Guaranteed comfort
In cars with reclining seats, your child's head may tilt forward when using the harness. That's why FLEX BASE 5Z can be adjusted to six different positions, which ensures the best combination of safety and comfort for your little one. It is best to set a suitable angle for the car seat before installation, and you can adjust the angle of the DUALFIX 5Z car seat on the road to a more comfortable position when the toddler falls asleep.

Turn and use without barriers - swivel base
All seats compatible with the FLEX BASE 5Z platform can be turned towards the open door of the car, making it easy to place the child in the seat and fasten the harness. We recommend that children travel rear-facing for as long as possible. However, you can conveniently turn the base 180 degrees and place your DUALFIX 5Z car seat facing forward when the child is 15 months old and 76 cm tall.

ISOFIX ratchet system
With the ISOFIX ratchet system, the ISOFIX arms come out so that the base of the car seat is easy to attach to and remove from the car's ISOFIX mounting points. Once the ISOFIX connectors are locked, press the base until it touches the back of the car seat. This prevents the car seat from rising upwards in the event of a collision.

Easy to store
We know that parents of small children have a lot of baby items to store, so we designed the safety bassinet to be easy to store. The support leg turns up so that it is easy to store in the trunk of the car or at home. When you fold the leg under the seat, the signal tone of the support leg is switched off, ensuring peace of mind during storage.

Adjustable rebound bar
The reboundbar helps to prevent the car seat from tilting in the event of an impact. The reboundbar can be adjusted by 8 degrees. This way you can easily adjust the support curve against the back of the car seat, giving your child 10 percent more legroom.
