Do not make any modifications to the product. • Never use a damaged device. Replace parts that are defective or worn. • Use the product only for its intended purpose, in accordance with this user manual. • Never use the product while sleeping or when you are extremely tired. • If mold develops in the tubing, stop using the tubing and replace it. • Breast milk should not be heated in a microwave or boiled. Microwaving can cause uneven heat distribution in the milk, which can lead to severe burns in the baby's mouth (microwaving may also alter the composition of breast milk). • Clean and sterilize all parts that come into contact with the breast and breast milk before the first use. • Only use parts recommended by Medela with the product. • If pumping is uncomfortable or painful, turn off the breast pump and loosen the breast shield with a finger between the breast and the shield, then remove the shield from the breast. • Although it may feel a bit uncomfortable the first time using a breast pump, it should never be painful. If you are unsure about which breast shield size to choose, you can visit www.medela.se or consult a breastfeeding counselor or specialist who can help you find the right fit.
