Made from stainless steel and brass, the bearing has a dimensional accuracy of 0.001mm - the same as our coveted Essential III turntables! The tonearm construction of the T1 model series is a new design based on previous Pro-Ject models. Its sleek 8.6-inch long stem is made from a single rigid piece of aluminum. The shaft bearing has low friction, but no backlash. The sound box slide integrated into the stem is rigidly constructed and does not produce its own vibrations in the same way as removable, screwed or glued sound box slides.
