NiSi Black Mist 1/4 52 mm filter

This filter brings more dimension and character to the images. Light sources get a pleasant diffusion, while shadows retain their hue and blackness. At the same time, it also reduces contrast and softens wrinkles and blemishes, making it perfect for portrait photography.

NiSi Black Mist filters are available in 3 different strengths: 1/2, 1/4 and 1/8 (1/2 is the maximum effect and 1/8 is only a small effect).

Many strategies have been developed to soften or break up images to create a specific "mood" by softening excessive sharpness and contrast.
