Thanks to the built-in battery case, the tripod's servo motors are capable of robust, low-vibration performance without having to worry about figuring out the external battery case and power cord. With a simple key command, you can select an object from the catalog, change the rotation speed, read fascinating additional information about the object being tracked, or simply find out if the desired object is visible in the sky.

With Celestron's patented SkyAlign (pat pend) function, you can easily align the telescope: Enter the date, time and approximate location information on the remote control and aim the telescope at three bright celestial bodies. You don't even need to know the names of the celestial bodies you choose - or you can even choose the Moon or bright planets!
