The Manfrotto 175F-2 Cold Shoe clamp is a versatile lightweight clamp that allows the user to safely place the most important accessories anywhere, which is not always possible using a traditional support solution such as a lighting stand. The mount has several useful attachment points that allow the user to attach important lightweight accessories such as a Speedlite, a small LED panel, or an audio microphone.

Weighing only 350 g, the clamp has a very strong spring mechanism that guarantees a firm grip on many different surfaces or objects and offers a load capacity of up to 2 kg. The fastening jaws extend to a maximum diameter of 40 mm, so they can be easily attached to a post, shelf, chair back or even a tree branch. Inside the jaws of the spring clamps are several durable hard rubber paws that provide better grip, especially useful on irregularly shaped surfaces.

The clamp features a reliable, multi-position Manfrotto center ball head with full pan and tilt. Once the fixture is attached to the selected surface, a single locking knob on the ball head allows the user to precisely position the accessory at the correct angle and lock by simply twisting it firmly into place. On top of the ball head is Manfrotto's well-respected accessory shoe mechanism. With this unique attachment, the user can easily and safely attach the accessory of their choice to the ball head. To open the shoe, simply open the ring, slide the accessory in, then tighten the ring to lock it firmly into the ball head.

In addition to the ball head, the clamp also has a 5/8" (16mm) socket and a 5/8" (16mm) connector with a 3/8" female thread, giving you the option of either attaching an accessory or attaching the clamp to a stand or support arms.
