Makita 191ON6-8 BL4040F 4.0Ah battery. High Power Li-ion battery 40V XGT® for power supply of machines.

A very efficient, low-power and long-life battery for Makita's XGT® product family. Thanks to the new High Power cells, the BL4040F is able to release current quickly, and due to the low heat loss, the battery capacity lasts longer even under heavy load. Charging time only 45 minutes.

Unprecedented power in Makita's XGT battery product family! The BL4040F battery combines high power delivery, low heat loss and compact size.

Thanks to the new High Power cells, the BL4040F is able to deliver more and faster current compared to the traditional BL4040 battery. Up to 35% more efficient battery increases work efficiency and speeds up processes.

Despite the efficient power delivery, the new cells heat up considerably less than in the BL4040 battery. Due to the low heat loss, the battery usage time per charge increases even under heavy load compared to the traditional BL4040 battery.

With the help of the low operating temperature, a faster charging time is also achieved (approx. 45 minutes) when the battery can receive the charge faster without separate initial cooling. The service life of the battery also increases due to the low thermal stress of the cells.

The BL4040F has the same physical dimensions as the BL4040, but weighs 70 grams less. BL4040F matches the BL4050F (40V XGT 5.0Ah) battery in terms of power output, but is up to 370 grams lighter and considerably more compact.
