The Makita DF001G is a very powerful drill for the demanding professional. Makita's most powerful drill is equipped with electronic torque control and an acceleration sensor that stops the machine if the blade jams. This safety feature prevents the user's wrist from twisting.

- The DF001G drill has a selection panel with digital display to select the desired clamping torque. The different torque ranges are 41, 1-45 Nm for 1st gear and 21, 1-10 Nm for 2nd gear. An electronic torque control stops the machine when the desired torque is reached. The high speed range of 0-2600 minˉ¹ is ideal for both small and large blades. Safety-enhancing AFT technology prevents potential wrist injuries by shutting down the motor if the rotary motion of the drill bit is suddenly stopped by an obstacle. The DF001G is equipped with a long-life and powerful carbon brushless motor.

The capacity of the 40 V 2.5 Ah battery is approximately 40 pieces of SPAX screws, diameter 8 mm, length 400 mm, in 400 mm thick wood, approximately 90 pieces of drilled holes in 38 mm thick wood with a 65 mm diameter self-feeding drill bit and approximately 480 pieces of drilled holes in 38 mm thick wood with a 22 mm diameter twist drill bit.

Makita's XGT system has built-in digital communication between the battery and the machine. This allows the battery to communicate with the tool and vice versa. The battery also recognises and stores in memory the tools it is used with. The XGT machines have a powerful carbon brushless motor that allows for longer run time per charge.

This product comes with a Macpac case, a 2.5 Ah battery and a DC40RA quick charger. Charging time for the 2.5 Ah battery is approximately 28 minutes.
