Makita XGT GA044GZ02 40V X-Lock angle grinder body

Powerful, battery-operated angle grinder equipped with a safety switch on the bottom for demanding use in industry, for example. The machine is equipped with the X-LOCK mechanism, thanks to which the disc can be changed easily and quickly without tools, and it uses discs with a diameter of 125 mm. The disc guard is also easy to adjust, install or remove without tools.

The powerful, long-lasting and maintenance-free carbon brushless motor is powered by a Makita 40V XGT battery. The adjustable rotation speed from the adjustment wheel in the range of 3,000 – 8,500 min⁻¹ helps to match the power to different applications.

Ready for the AWS (Auto-start Wireless System) remote start function of the vacuum cleaner, thanks to which the vacuum cleaner starts wirelessly at the same time as the machine itself using a Bluetooth connection. So there is no need for a separate vacuum cleaner start-up!

The AFT (Active Feedback sensing technology) system constantly monitors the rotation speed of the disc and shuts down the machine when the disc jams, so that the user does not have any dangerous situations due to a possible kickback. Safety is also increased by the disc brake, which stops the disc quickly when the machine is turned off. Restart protection prevents the motor from starting if the battery is inserted into the tool with the switch locked. Soft start increases user comfort.

The Makita XPT system effectively protects the machine against water and dust even in the most demanding conditions.
