First read through all the instructions, the safety information and the information on the allergy test before commencing treatment. Developing times: Tube A (developing gel) 2 min + 5 min Tube B (colour gel) 1 min The pack contains: 1 Tube A developing gel 1 Tube B colour gel 2 application brushes 2 cotton buds 1 protective cream 12 protective papers The contents of the pack are sufficient for about 5-7 treatments. The protective cream is sufficient for several treatments. Tear off one corner for easier application of the protective cream. Does not need to be resealed. If it runs out, pure petroleum jelly works well instead. Before colouring: If you wear contact lenses, take them out. Remove all makeup from the area that will be coloured using an oil-free eye makeup remover. It is important that you remove all traces of makeup products, as these can prevent a good end result being achieved. The hair to be coloured must be completely clean and dry. REMEMBER that if you intend to pluck or wax your eyebrows, you must wait to do this until after colouring is complete. Protect porcelain surfaces and furniture from stains by covering them with newspaper or similar, and keep cotton wool pads and water handy. Remember that the skin nearest to the eyebrows, which has been in contact with the contents of tube A and is not protected by protective cream, will take on the same colour as the hair of the eyebrows after the contents of tube B have been applied and removed. This colour normally disappears within 2-3 days. The pack contains 2 brushes = one for each tube. What to do, step by step Colouring eyelashes 1. Apply an even line from tube A along the application brush. Use the tip of the tube to distribute the gel evenly over the brush. Be sure to use one brush for tube A and the other for tube B. 2. Apply the gel using the application brush in the same way as mascara. Distribute the gel well all over the lashes. It is extremely important to thoroughly moisten the entire eyelash with gel from root to tip. Take care not to get any of the gel in your eyes. 3. After 2 minutes carefully wipe the lashes with a cotton wool pad to remove all excess gel. If you do not do this, the colour result will be lost. Then wait 5 minutes before applying tube B. While you wait, carry out step 4. 4. Smooth protective cream onto the skin surrounding the eyes. Now apply the protective paper as close to the lower lashes as possible to protect your skin during the colouring process. Make sure that no protective cream gets on your lashes, as this will ruin the colour result. 5. Apply an even line from tube B along the application brush. Use the tip of the tube to distribute the gel evenly over the brush. NB: Always wipe the brush well with paper before applying new gel to the brush. 6. Use the application brush to distribute the gel well all over the lashes. It is extremely important to thoroughly moisten the entire eyelash with gel from root to tip. Leave the gel to take effect for one minute. Take care not to get any of the gel in your eyes. If the gel has come into contact with the skin, wipe this away immediately to avoid staining the skin. 7. Moisten a cotton wool pad in lukewarm water and carefully remove all the colour after the end of the developing time. Colouring eyebrows 1. Apply an even line from tube A along the application brush. Use the tip of the tube to distribute the gel evenly over the brush. Be sure to use one brush for tube A and the other for tube B. 2. Apply the gel using the application brush. Distribute the gel well all over the eyebrows. It is extremely important to thoroughly moisten with gel all the hair to be coloured. 3. After 2 minutes carefully wipe the brows with a cotton wool pad to remove all excess gel. If you do not do this, the colour result will be lost. Then wait 5 minutes before applying tube B. While you wait, carry out step 4. 4. Apply protective cream using a cotton bud to the skin around the eyebrows to avoid this becoming stained. Make sure that no protective cream gets on your brows, as this will ruin the colour result. 5. Apply an even line from tube B along the application brush. Use the tip of the tube to distribute the gel evenly over the brush. NB: Always wipe the brush well with paper before applying new gel to the brush. 6. Use the application brush to distribute the gel well all over the brows so that all hairs are completely moistened with gel. Leave the gel to take effect for one minute. If the gel has come into contact with the skin, wipe this away immediately to avoid staining the skin. 7. Moisten a cotton wool pad with lukewarm water and carefully wipe away all the colour after the end of the developing time. Always clean the application brushes with a little water and washing-up liquid after use. Tips and advice: You can use the same colour for both eyelashes and eyebrows, but we recommend using a lighter shade for eyebrows if you use black for your eyelashes. It is difficult to adjust the strength of the colour by varying the developing time. So we recommend using a lighter or darker shade instead, depending on what you want. If you do not get the colour result you expected, or it is uneven, check the following: 1. Too little gel from tube A on the area to be coloured. It is important that all the hair is thoroughly moistened. 2. Not wiped away all excess gel from tube A. If you do not do this, only the excess will be coloured and not the gel on the hair itself. 3. Too little gel from tube B or poorly distributed through the hair. 4. Got protective cream on the hair to be coloured. Safety information: Warning: May cause allergic reaction. Avoid all contact with the eyes. Tube B (colour gel) contains silver nitrate. If the product comes into contact with the eyes, rinse immediately. If you get developing gel or colour gel in your eyes, you must stop the treatment immediately and rinse carefully with plenty of water. Skin irritation/allergy Do not use the product if you have any irritation/inflammation in or on the skin around your eyes. Do not use the product on your eyebrows if you have plucked or waxed them in the past 72 hours. If at any point during the treatment you feel a stinging or prickling sensation, you must stop the treatment immediately. This can be a sign of hypersensitivity to one of the ingredients. Perform an allergy test 48 hours before use. Colour gel and developing gel colour the skin and other surfaces. Protect all areas of skin around the application zone with protective cream before you begin the treatment as per step 4 in the instructions. If you spill any gel on other surfaces, for example textiles, furniture, porcelain, etc., this must be removed immediately to avoid staining. The marks will not appear for a few hours. In the event of a spill, rinse and dry immediately. If stains have developed on the skin, these normally disappear within 2-3 days, as skin cells are constantly renewing. You can speed up this process by using a skin scrub to gently try to remove the stain. Seal both tubes carefully after finishing the treatment because the product may become less effective in the event of prolonged contact with oxygen. Store at room temperature. The contents of the tubes must never be mixed before colouring; instead the contents must be applied one at a time in the order specified in the instructions below. When the application brush with colour gel comes into contact with hair with developing gel applied (step 6), it turns black. Before applying fresh colour gel to the application brush, always wipe away any black carefully with a bit of paper to ensure the best colour result. Allergy test Apply a small dab of the contents from both tubes to the inside of the elbow (protect your clothing). Leave it to take effect for ten minutes. Then rinse off with lukewarm water. If the skin reacts within 48 hours, you should not use this product. Even if the test produces no rash, this is no guarantee; rather it is an extra precaution to guard against a possible allergic reaction.
