The PV301 is a compact, battery-powered sanding/polishing machine and is well suited for polishing details, e.g. car mirrors, door handles and headlights, or for sanding details with a sanding device.

Polisher
The base for polishing accessories supplied as standard equipment has a diameter of 75 mm. It uses various foam sponges or sheep's wool discs with a diameter of 80 mm. The machine's slower speed range of 0-2800 min⁻¹ is well suited for polishing

Sander
The base for grinding accessories supplied with the machine is suitable for 50 mm Roloc fixed grinding accessories. The speed range 0-9500 min⁻¹ intended for sanding is very suitable for sanding small details.

The device has a long-lasting, efficient and power-saving carbon brushless motor. Two speed options (0 – 2,800 min⁻¹ and 0 – 9,500 min⁻¹) and stepless speed control from the operating switch help to adjust the power as needed. The locking button on the operating switch enables the machine to be used without constantly pressing the switch, which reduces the strain on the hands. The restart prevention function protects the user from accidental restarts. The Makita XPT system effectively protects the machine against water and dust even in the most demanding conditions.
