The year is 1278 and builders from all over the world flock to Granada to help build the new Alhambra. But the builders will only accept payment in their own currency, so now it&aposs up to players to pool the different currencies to pay for new additions. Currency is collected in each turn, and if you can pay the builders in even money, you get an extra turn! But remember to keep an eye on where the extensions are placed so that access to the fountain isn&apost cut off. And keep a close eye on your opponents, who are all vying for the same valuable buildings. Alhambra sounds like a nice little building game, but it&aposs a battle to build the finest palace in Granada. Alhambra has won a host of awards, including. Spiel des Jahres 2003 and Best Family Game of the Year in Norway 2005. Now it is finally re-released in Danish in a beautiful edition, where the illustrations have also been given a graphical overhaul. Rules in English are also included in this edition of Alhambra.
