FX6 external filter perfect for larger aquariums up to 1500L. Advanced microchip technology monitors and optimizes pump performance, and the click-fit system minimizes leakage from the aqua-stop valves. Equipped with rubber feet to ensure quiet operation. The filter uses multi-stage filtration and consists of removable, stackable media baskets that eliminate water changes. Water changes are easy by attaching a spindle to the outlet (kit sold separately) and the pump does the rest. The FX6 is also self-priming, just add water, plug in and the pump takes over. Trapped air is automatically evacuated every 12 hours to ensure maximum efficiency
