This tyre for MTB rides on frozen ground, ice and snow is equipped with up to 402 spikes which really dig into the ground to provide you with substantial grip on slippery roads.

The high-quality spikes are made out of durable and hard-wearing tungsten carbide, encased in robust aluminium. This combination ensures a high durability as well as low weight.

Schwalbe’s ICE SPIKER PRO give you more security on asphalt streets in winter, but the spiked tyres show their real strengths on snowy and icy trails.

Attention:
To ensure the durable hold of the spikes, you should run in the tyres for approx. 40 km on asphalt roads so that the spikes are securely fitted. While doing this, avoid strong acceleration and braking, as well as low air pressure.
